I bought a surge, specifically as it advertised a cycle option but for the life of me, I can't see how to record this. I'm back on map my ride which so far works better than my fit bit.

Any advice will be gratefully received, thanks.

There's a setting for Bike.  

You can add it in your settings / exercise settings.

I'm really sorry for being a bit slow on the uptake Kawaiiko, but I just can't seem to find this. I've checked the settings on the fit bit and can't find it there, so tried the app and could only find the auto recognise bike ride. I've only had it a couple of days, maybe I'm using the wrong version or something similar.

Click on surge -- exercise shortcuts. -- you can add/remove your choices

What about cycling mode for my Surge? The symbol for biking comes up and the map but the distance is wrong.
