Fitbit gives false steps when putting on seat belt, strapping kids into car seats, getting dressed - the list is endless!! Any suggestions on how to deal with this as am verging on giving up and returning it

@Howat71, you don't mention which Fitbit tracker you have, but if it is a wrist-worn tracker it is doing what it is designed to do - counting arm movement as steps.

Hi, it is a wrist worn charge 2 tracker, so is there no way to counteract extra steps given as it does give a lot of "false steps" and driving when wearing it is ridiculous with the amount of extra steps! My colleague at work has the same tracker and she says she doesn't have this issue!
