I have syncing issues pretty much every day. I have all day syncing turned on, I have always connected turned on, even though I don't want to as it drains my phone battery. Yet, still, I have syncing issues everyday.
I had a charge HR a couple years back and gave up using it after a few months as it had syncing issues, I recently bought the ionic as I thought the syncing issues would have been fixed. They were not. So every day I spend about an hour trying to sync my android phone, following all the suggested fixes, turn the bluetooth off and on, restarting the app, restarting the phone, re-pairing the ionic, with infrequent success. Maybe every other day it will sync for a moment just to transfer saved data but nothing else as if the all day sync and always connected do nothing.
Now my issue is that I connected to the windows app, which causes my phone app to lose the connection to the watch, and it synced, but when I tried to re-pair with my phone it wouldn't. I then reinstalled the phone app and it lost all my progress over the past two weeks, and the phone and watch will still not sync.
I am extremely disappointed with fitbit, and pretty upset I lost the record of all my progress after following your syncing troubleshooting advice.
Judging by the number of threads discussing the issues with syncing, you should really fix it. I shouldn't have to spend more than 2 minutes syncing, let alone the hour I do spend, especially considering I have always connected and all-day sync on.

Ditto. I'm so very tired of the seemingly constant syncing issues between my ionic and every device I've tried it with. There are far less expensive devices that work over Bluetooth with far greater reliability so I'd think that Fitbit could get a data sync working for their top end product. Does not appear to be the case.
