Hi there @Sky92x, thank you for share your feedback, although I would like to clarify that the Fitbit app does not contain ads, despite is a free application.
Can you share a screenshot of how it looks your Fitbit app? Having a closer look it will be super useful to investigate further. Sometimes the Fitbit app displays guides or tips for how to use certain type of features, but is displayed only once.
Make sure to download the app from the Google play store and not other app sites and have the most recent version which for Androids is 2.40.
