My Android device isn't on the list as being comparable for the the Fitbit app, how can I find one that is or is is there?

Neither is mine but it works absolutely fine.  As you say yours isn't on the list then have you seen the list to see which ones are?

@Pcp3636  Mine isn't compatible either but I have no issues..
