not able to add steps on android app

I saw another recent post about adding an activity manually on the app through Android. I followed the directions and also made sure I have the most updated version of the app. The only things I can do when I click on the + sign is start sleep or log sleep!
It's very frustrating.

I'm on version 4.04 (110006463)

I can only add mileage.   And I can't use a decimal point for fractions (like half or quarter).  Is that the way it works or do I need to update?  I'm on version 4.04.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thank you! This worked for me. It was weird, I had to change my focus to sleep it be able to add manual activity. When my main focus was steps as pictured in the screenshot, I could only manually add sleep!!!!

Thank you again!!!

I had no idea that would make a difference. Another strange quirk of the new app version.
