I have the 2.90 version of the app on my Google Pixel 2. I have tried the following things.

1. Force closed the app and restarted my phone. 

2. Cleared cache and restarted my phone

3. Toggled location off then on in the Fitbit app. 

The notification will not go away

I just wanted to let you know that I have moved your post from the Charge 3 board to the Android app board, since I think that here you will be able to see more related topics about the Fitbit app.

 

Thanks for troubleshoot this GPS connected issue by yourself. I recommend uninstalling the Fitbit for Android app and then reinstalling it. Also, give your phone a restart and make sure that your Fitbit app is updated.
