"Fitbit is running in the Background" notification

 I have this notification that will not go away saying that "Fitbit is running in the background". I've checked all the other threads and information about this new update. I've tried all those 'solutions' with no success. When I hit the 'DONE' button on the notification after long-pressing, nothing happens. I see where "All-day Sync" will have the constant notification, so I turned it off. I edited my settings in both the Fitbit app and my phone. How do I make this **** message go away and not come back??? Anybody having the same problem or know of something that might actually work?? Thanks!

Thanks that removed notification from top of screen. Still shows up on the swipe down notifications though. But Definitely better to not have to see it constantly.

I kinda wish I had stayed with the older version of the app. Never had that show up like  that before. 

I'm also not  a fan of how they stashed away the challenges. I personally wish they would add more adventures.

I guess change for the sake of change is inevitable
