"Notification service not running" error

Hi, all

I have updated my Versa and my phone is Xiaomi Mi mix 2, Fitbit app version 2.91. I found a message "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker." Then I tried to restart my phone and Versa several times but in vain, no notifications such as Line, Skype, Gmail or Messanger would come up on my Versa. Any idea or any solutions to my problem?

Thanks for sharing those details and letting me know that you tried restarting your phone to get it to work.

It is possible that this is happening because the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the notifications. Maybe you could give them a try.
