"Oops looks like there's no internet connection" when accessing Fitbit Gallery

Every time I'm trying to access the Gallery in the Fitbit app to change my watch design, I get the following error:

"Oops looks like there's no internet connection"

even though Im connected to a great quality wifi and 5G on my Xiaomi Mi 11. Any ideas how I can solve it?

This happens all the time since I got my Versa 3 over a year back, and it is so annoying! I'm paying for the premium membership, and cannot even change a stupid watch face.

Sorry you're having difficulties, @BlackCandy . Two things come to mind:

  • The list of devices compatible with Fitbit specifically lists the Xiaomi Mi 6 as having issues. This doesn't mean the Mi 11 will definitely have issues, but it is certainly a possibility. There are so many different devices and implementations of the Android OS, it's hard to keep things full compatible. Not that this helps you.
  • The one thing I can think of for you to check is to make sure you have a direct internet connection, and aren't going through any proxies or VPNs. I have seen other post about issues connecting to Fitbit when connecting via a VPN.

Good luck!
