text messages I have a Samsung s7edge a alta hr.

Samsuns s7edge and alta rh.. when i get a text it only reads new message.. i notifications on and read sender and message.. i also turned on fitbit  in the phones notifications setting

In this case I'd recommend that you check the instructions provided by @ErickFitbit. They should get your text notifications to work properly.
