tracking miles

my fitbit is not accurately  tracking my miles. I had over 4000 steps and it said that it was only .35 miles. How can fix this problem?

Has it ever tracked miles correctly?

 

Check your stride in the fitbit dashboard under your profile & personal info.

It has always tracked accurately until a couple of days ago. I did check
the stride. I will see what happens tomorrow when I exercise and see how
it tracks. Thanks

Also, I see you posted under the Android app page. Are you tracking steps with your phone or a fitbit tracker device? Had you maybe used GPS before?
