Aria 2 Body fat % inaccurate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I purchased the Aria 2 scale yesterday and the body fat % calculated is WAY OUT! I see a nutritionist every 2 weeks and am 22% body fat , and workout almost 8x a week. So for this to put me at over 40% is hilarious... I did the whole restart/calibrate, and have it on a hard surface, use bare feet and it's still out by almost 15%. I have also checked my profile information and that is correct. My husbands seems more accurate than mine but it is disappointing. Is there something else I can do to fix it?

I have the same problem as the original poster but maybe can help with some more information.

I bought my Aria 2 one year ago and results of measurements were perfect just until last week. Maybe it is just random coincidence, but on March 18th you updatet the fitbit app.

Since I estimated a hardware error, I asked amazon for a replacement which just arrived today. The new Aria 2 does behave like the old one...

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, changed between normal and slim body shape. Surprisingly I got exactly one correct result before it switched back to failure.

Hey, I tired the same things as you noted, as well. Other users mentioned they switched their profile gender and did a reading than switched it back and did a reading and they got one "normal" result than it went back to inaccurate readings. I tired this, and it worked for me once than continued to have inaccurate readings. Maybe that could work for you ?
