Aria 2 - Can't add a second user

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Can anyone please help, we recently spent A LOT OF MONEY one what is essentially A SET OF SCALES, under the promise that it was

1) simple to set up

2) a fun and useful way to track your personal progress

3) a smart way to track from a smart company.

My initial experience has been as far away from all of these 3 points as could be possibly expected.

The current issue we are having is trying to add a 2nd user to the scales.

My partner receives an invitation (not through the app by the way, no, this would be far too convenient) but to her email.

The email contains a handy link that is all set up ready for you to follow and add to Fitbit.

Alas, and indeed alack this does NOT work.

After following the link we are provided with a blank screen that becomes frozen (btw were using Pixel 3 XL, so it's not some cheap Samsung thing that's struggling...)

Please help. we have spent nearly £100 on what is currently a very expensive and inefficient bathroom step.

I am having the same issue.  My husband can read his numbers, but we don't see it anywhere within the app.

Help!

@Cgkeys @jkmar I'm sorry for the late response. However, let me welcome you both to our Fitbit Community.

I would like to follow up and would like to know if your Aria 2 scales are still unable to add a second user. I totally understand how frustrating this is for you.

If the issue persists, please have the second user to accept the invitation through a computer, not through the Fitbit app and see if the scales recognize their users properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

@PerGronberg, welcome to our Fitbit Community. By the way, I'm sorry for the late response.

I appreciate the time spent trying to add a second user by using a computer as well. I would like to follow up on this and would like to know if the second user gets any error message when trying to accept the invitation. Did the second user get the invitation email?

Looking forward to your response.

@PerGronberg, I'm sorry for the late response. However, thank you for providing the details requested.

Please go to your online Dashboard and click on the "People" tab and see if the second user is already added to your Aria 2.

Keep me posted.

I am having the same problem,

we receive the invitation email, once directed, the landing page says:” Sorry that page is following a different trail”

I deleted the previous invite and sent a new one, many time, still the same problem.

@YahyaZ Thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. Please try have the primary user to send the invitation through a computer. After this, accept the invitation through a computer as well and see if the issue gets fixed.

Hope this helps.
