Aria 2 Can’t find wifi

I’ve had enough of Fitbit now. Gave up on the Fitbit watches cos of the constant bugs and the unreliable data. Now I’ve updated my wifi and I can’t hook the scales back up to the network. Can’t find wifi nor can my phone even see the scales.I’ve seen people have these issues in the past but when I bought the scale luckily after a few attempts it worked. I’ve been trying for a few hours now. Even removed the scale from my account and trying to connect fresh doesn’t work anymore.

Networking Requirements
Aria 2 connects directly to your home’s Wi-Fi network and supports the following
network configurations:
• Wireless 802.11b/g/n, 2.4 GHz standard
• WEP / WPA / WPA2 personal security
• Automatic (DHCP) IP setup (static IP configuration not supported)
Aria 2 requires an 802.11b/g/n-compatible network to connect and sync your scale
data to your Fitbit account.

If your router does not support these older protocols you will not be able to connect it. If you still have your older router I would recommend adding it to your network for use by the scale only.

I had the same issue. I deleted the scale, restarted my phone, restarted my router, nothing worked. I just so happened to get frustrated and held that little black button on the back down for like 10 seconds. It felt like forever. But it worked! The WiFi symbol eventually popped up. They really should tell you to hold it longer than a few seconds to get it to go into WiFi mode.
