Aria 2 always logs me as "Guest"

I purchased an Aria 2 scale and I am extremely frustrated with it already.

If this cant be fixed easily, I will be returning this scale.

everytime I use the scale, it logs me as guest. I’ve stepped on it 50 times and everytime I assign it as myself through the app.

that does nothing!

However, my wife who is 20kg lighter, steps on the scale and it thinks it’s me?

i have triple checked I have my correct weight in my profile

i have deleted and re-synced the scale 5 times - no change

i have taken batteries out, waited 15sec, put them back it, No change

Is there anything else I need to try before I return this rubbish of a scale?

When guest first appears on the scale, tap hard on the lower right corner until your initials appear.

Just as a way of update, it seems to have fixed itself overnight 🤔
