@wnvd welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Aria 2 since the batteries have drained fast.

Please take out the batteries and clean the contacts or springs of your Aria 2 with a cotton swab and a little bit of alcohol. This will remove any dust that the contacts may accumulate and affect the functionality of the batteries. Once you've done this, put the batteries back in and monitor their behavior for the next few days and let me know if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

I have had my unit replaced once. Now after cleaning, and Fully charging and synching last night, by 1000 this morning the battery indicator was red....What are my options to correct this??

@AzRobert thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! I'll be glad to assist you with your Aria 2 batteries are draining fast also. Thank you for cleaning the contacts of your scale before contacting our forums.

I would like to know if you use rechargeable batteries or they're the regular ones. We recommend using regular alkalines,

Looking forward to your response! Smiley Happy

Mine is doing same thing. Went away 2 weeks and all batteries drained.

@Northern-gal thank you for participating in our Fitbit Community! Since your Aria 2 is also experiencing battery draining issues, I'd like you to try the following:

Take out the batteries and clean the contacts of your scale with a cotton swab and a little bit of alcohol in order to remove dust that the contacts accumulate. After this, try a new set of batteries and monitor how long they last. Make sure that the batteries are not rechargeable.

Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

I’m having the same problem. Tried everything suggest and still draining batteries. They are not rechargeable either. Now it won’t even get past the setup mode. Just keep telling me to step on and off. Won’t connect to WiFi. Very frustrating.

We have thrown away the aria and bought another brand. Works much better!

I was thinking of doing just that!  all of my FitBit watches start having problems before the two year mark. I’ve been a FitBit users for years. Mostly cause their app is so great. But gonna start looking for amothtype of tracker.  Thanks for your reply

Pam, I’ve been a Fitbit user for over 10 years. I love their app, but I’m not going to buy another FitBit product. 😔

I really hate thinking that way but .....I too have been a FitBit person for such a long time, I am sad if they are letting products and customer service go down!   Thanks for the info and I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year..... guess I will be looking for a better scale!

Well I wanted to update my first post - my kids did get me the scale I have had it since Christmas - and used it every day - and not a problem and have not had to change the battery - so I really LOVE min scale!

Again Thanks!

The problems start after you have had it a while. I have to stand mine on it’s side or remove batteries...otherwise I’m replacing them in a matter of days.
