Ok, I know that body fat readings at just a guide, and to be fair, I don't even expect the percentage it tells me to be accurate, I just want a number and when I'm cutting fat I want that number to go downwards with some kind of correlation to the fat I've lost - and I have lost fat - I don't think I'm asking for the holy grail here - id expect the above from a device marketed at taking bodyfat readings for over £100.
I bought the aria 2 in October, had all the issues with syncing, etc, managed to get that sorted, but now there's another issue.
I use the scales every morning, around 7am. They are in the same place, on a hard surface, and they are never moved.
They give me a consistent reading for weight. The body fat is now swinging about wildly on consecutive weigh in.
This started when I hit 25% bf (from 35%) I was clearly losing fat, I have calipers as well and they confirmed, but the scales would only read me at 25ish.
I have put on 10kg of lean as well, so I switched to Lean mode and I now get a more realistic measurements, but consecutive weigh ins increase the bf by a few 1/10s of a percent.
I have tried the batteries out and 5 consecutive weigh ins to calibrate, but it's just the same...
What's going on. They must be broke because they certainly don't work... Check out this morning's results!!!
Id really like some kind of answer to this. Can support help?
