Hi,
I have been using the scales daily for a number of months with a consistent score of Body Fat around 17.5% to 19.5% and yesterday I read a review that said you get a more accurate reading after a shower as its better for the electo signal to pass through the body.
So I used the scales today before the shower and my body fat was 17,5%, I used it directly after the shower at it was 10.3% fat.
As i was stunned I did it again and 10.3% came out and at 17:42 I tried once more and 9.6% came out.
I noticed that these figures came when I select Lean Mode. Why does body fat drop by half in Lean mode?

Had the same problem. Now sorted, but not sure what element of what I did sorted it. Did factory reset, switched from male to female and back again (weighing myself once as female before switching back to male), switched to lean mode and back. I can't remember what triggered the scale to recalibrate correctly now as I was on the verge of throwing both my Charge 4 and Aria 2 out of the window. These products should be 'plug and play', especially at the prices they are retailed at, but they are not...they are unreliable, riddled with bugs, and frankly, the amount of stress and wasted time spent trying to get these products to function is way beyond any exhaustion I may feel from exercising. Every single day there is an element which doesn't work. If we weren't in lockdown I'd have no option but to send the items back, I simply wouldn't have time to do my job AND sort out my Fitbit problems. Very very disappointed with Charge 4, Aria 2 and the app... and crikey, how much more stressful does it get if you upgrade and pay for the premium Fitbit experience! 🤣
