Aria 2 body fat readings not accurate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The Aria 2 is not accurate at all have had this scale about a year now and has never shown a correct body fat. I have done as suggested resetting 15 seconds and weighing myself 5 consecutive times and my settings are correct. I am a male 6'2" and currently 210 says I'm 12.3% then most recently resetting now says 7.3%. My body fat is about 20.2% and again totally inaccurate.

@Tiesson welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Aria 2 since it's not providing accurate body fat readings. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I would just like to know if your Aria 2 is placed on a hard surface and you stand on it barefoot. These details will help me to assist you accordingly.

Looking forward to your response! Smiley Happy

Yes I do exactly what is recommended but it's not accurate at all. I have it placed on a hard surface and barefoot tried resetting doing the 5 consecutive weigh-ins and that made it worse it when from 12% to 7%. My settings are correct indicating that I am a male and weight might be kinda accurate and BMI is correct for my weight just the body fat is poor.  I have always had problems with Fitbit scales I wish the company could make a scale that actually is somewhat accurate.
