Aria 2 consistently loses connection

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had this problem since I've bought this thing. Even had a thread when I was doing my first time setup. The Aria 2 continually fails to find my wifi access point even though it was syncing two days ago. I have to constantly try to re-configure the wifi settings in the Aria, which means I also have to do it manually since the Aria can't list more than 10 or so access points. Well, I still can't figure out how to get it to find my access point, even with it manually set. It tries to connect, but after 3 seconds or so it reports "NO WIFI". The AP is there, I have other devices on it.

I started to experiance this problem over the last few days.  I've had this scale for almost 3 years without a problem.  I called support today and we restarted the router and setup the wifi.  It worked for a few hours.  I rebooted the router and it began to work again but failed after a couple of hours.  I see there is no resolution posted in this thread.  Has anyone found a fix?

Thanks,  Jim

Has this problem been resolved yet? I've gone through all the steps inc. removing batteries, resetting the device (daily), and this issue consistently re-occurs. disappointing to pay a premium price that doesn't deliver....

Hi
Unfortunately this has not been solved
I also tried everything (remove batteries, reset the wifi many times, etc)
but it just does not work and Aria does not connect to wifi
I currently have to manually take note of my weight since Aria does not work
A pity paying so much for a device of poor quality
And fitbit has not helped at all... zero help from their support
Really disappointing..

That’s a shame, and I feel your pain. Tried everything to resolve the issue. Worst part for me is I was dealing with customer service, going through all the stops, and my final question was regarding the potential impact of google nest on the connection issue. I went to reply, and found Fitbit has marked my emails as junk! I can’t even follow up with their service desk anymore. I was really shocked fitbit would go to that length to avoid reaching a resolution, and simply blocked me when they could no longer assist. Terrible behaviour.

I gave up and bout an Aria Air. For the time Ive spent messing around with Aria 2 trying to get it on wifi - the coat of Aria Air is worth it.

I was thinking of doing the same but was hesitating as I didn't want to buy another aria, only to experience further connection issues (my confidence in aria products isn't exactly high atm). Is the bluetooth connection of the Aria Air more reliable than the wifi of Aria 2? and do you have to have your phone within close range when using the scale to ensure the data is uploaded?
