According to the following help file, error 1 means:
"You remained on the scale for too long after completing a weigh-in."
See: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1489/
Could you have missed the weight display?

@Staketasan Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear about the "Error 1" that your Aria 2 displays. I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue got fixed after following the great tips that shared my friend @SteveH.
Looking forward to your response!

No weight ever displayed.

@Staketasan Thank you for getting back! Since the issue persists, please let me know if you have restarted your scale. If not, please try the following:
Take out the batteries for 15 seconds and put them back in. Once this has been done, weigh yourself 5 times in a row and see if your scale displays your weight.
As a side note, make sure that your scale is placed on a hard surface and you are stepping on it barefoot.
Let me know how it goes!

Hi,
I just bought the Fitbit Aria 2 and so far...it has been a nightmare to set up.
The Quick setup steps seem to be incomplete while the scale initially scrolls the www.fitbit.com/setup link across the display.
Then the instructions from the above link have my try to connect to the Aria 2's Wifi to finish setup BUT the Aria 2's Wifi never showed up on my Note 10's list of Wifi connections no matter how many times I disabled and turned my Note 10's Wifi back on or removed the batteries for 15 seconds in the Fitbit Aria2 and put them back in.
I already had the Fitbit app installed since I own a Charge 3 and step 3 of the included quick setup guide says to follow the mobile setup.
Hmmm?
Ok...well...could you folks please be a little more helpful here?
Step 3 of the quick set guide should tell you how to find the setup within the fitbit app which I eventually figured out on my own.
Ok...so now after battling to get it connected to the same Wifi that my Note 10 (and Fitbit app is installed)...no matter how many attempts I try to get this scale to actually weigh me...it always ends up with ERROR 1!!!!!!!!
Seriously!!!!
I came to this thread hoping to find a solution (after I Googled Aria 2 AND Error 1) and one suggestion was to remove the batteries for 15 seconds and put them back in.
Ok...so, I was hopeful that would be the solution.
NOPE!!!!!!
Still...nothing but ERROR 1.
I can't believe something as simple as a digital scale (yes I realize it does more) can't even weigh me without error-ing out EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!!
So...any suggestions?
