Aria 2 displays an "Error 1" message

I get an Error 1 when I try to weigh my self.    I also have my Fit Bit 3 on does that effect it.  It took me a lot of times to connect to WiFi also. But I got the WiFi and scale connected thank god because I really want this scale for its features.

Error 1 means:

 You remained on the scale for too long after completing a weigh-in.Step off your scale after completing a weigh-in or when the scale shows the footprint icon moving backward, indicating it's time to step off the scale. If your scale continues to show this error when you weigh yourself, even after stepping off at the appropriate time, contact Customer Support.
Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
