Aria 2 for big people

After starting at 440 lb, I'm now down to 415. I bought a scale recently that is supposed to weigh up to 440, but when I stand on it the display just fluctuates all over the place.

I just got a Charge 3, and it would be nice to have a scale that can sync to it. Since I expect to be under 400 lb soon, the Aria 2 seems to be just the ticket. But I am concerned about spending that much money for a scale that does the same thing as my current one.

My question is this: does the Aria 2 freak out when someone who weighs close to its limit stands on it? Keep in mind that, as a very large man, my stance is somewhat wider than the average person's; can this create an issue?

@BigDave1966, I don't know how the scales will act/react when near its max weight, but your stance may be a problem.  Your feet will only be approximately 4" (10cm) apart when standing on the scales.

Thanks for your reply. That information is helpful. My thinking is that with my feet so close together (yes, for me that's "close together"), it is nearly impossible for me to stand still long enough to get a reading. I have a feeling that's the problem with my current scale.

I think I'll hold off for a while on buying one. I go monthly to a clinic with a scale you could weigh a truck with (lol), and that will do for now.
