For the last 2 or 3 weeks my Aria 2 has read --%. I have taken the batteries out and put them back in and it is still doing this. Any suggestions?

@WallflwrReplik welcome to our Fitbit Community! i'm happy to assist you with your Aria 2 since it's not reading your body fat percentage. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
Please make sure that your profile settings (height, weight and gender) are correct. After this, re-calibrate your scale by weighing yourself 5 times in a row. Finally, make sure that your scale is placed on a hard surface and you are standing on it still.
Keep me posted on the outcome!

I have exactly the same problem - --% shows.
I have had the scales 10 days now, and gone thru' the entire set up process three times, incl. batteries removed, resetting height, weight, weighing 5 times, reconnecting to wifi, everything.
BMI and weight shows fine (we have two people connected to it), but never once had body fat showing (which was the whole purpose of buying it).
Having already done all the things you recommend, what next?

@Nobblytanner thank you for joining us in this thread. I appreciate the time spent trying the recommended troubleshooting steps.
Before I proceed accordingly, I would like to know if you are weighing yourself barefoot since this is required in order to have the body fat percentage measured.
Looking forward to your response.

Hi - did you not see my reply a few days ago?
I do use barefoot to weigh myself, but the body fat simply does not work.
Please respond, otherwise I will have to return it to the retailer soon within 30 days to get a refund.

I have the same issue. Body Fat shows up with only BF? I went through the process of weighing myself five times in a row as suggested and that does not help. I also weighed myself barefooted.
This problem seems to have begun after the last software update.

So it's 10 days since I replied to you, and had no reply back. That's really poor customer service.
Anyway, the ongoing problems with the Aria 2 have persisted, so I returned it to the vendor for a full refund.
I replaced the Aria 2 with the EUFYLife C1 Smart Scale.
It is SO superior to the Fitbit scales, it's hard to know where to start.
In short, it works.
The setup is super fast and easy, takes seconds.
The readings for all measurements came thru' first time.
Syncing it to the Fitbit app (as well as its own app) took seconds too.
Adding a partner to the scale was so easy also.
There are way more measurements available with this scale.
And it costs a third of the price of the Aria 2.
I'm SO glad you didn't bother to reply to me now!
Not only does your product suck, but your service does too.
And that has enabled me to discover a much better product.
So - everyone reading, go for the EUFYLife scales instead, find it on Amazon.
They are fab!
