Aria 2 measurement and set up issues

Been having some issues with my Aria 2, starting last week when it stopped recognising me as the user and kept classifying me as a guest - despite the fact Im the only person regularly using this scale and havent had any major weight changes

 

Disconnected and set up the scale again this week, only to find that it would be stuck on a screen that says "fitbit.com/setup" and wouldn't connect to the Wi-Fi no matter what I did.

 

Eventually figured out that it was still connected to my app and would take weights. Until this morning when it decided I had lost 5-6% bodyfat in the space of half a week despite my body weight being within the normal range of my ongoing weight loss. I tried recalibrating the scale as mentioned in other threads to no effect 

 

Tried a full factory reset to start again and now the thing seems completely broken.

 

It will connect to the app, but is still stuck on the scrolling setup screen. It still won't connect to the Wi-Fi network. The scale will eventually turn off and let me weight myself, but only in kilograms despite the app being set to stone. It then won't sync, nor will it show me any other measurements.

 

I have swapped out the battery, which the app doesn't seem to recognise. I have tried setting up with a different device, which wouldn't even connect to the scale. I have also attempted to get it onto two different Wi-Fi networks, and moved the scale out of my bathroom to try and get a different connection.

 

This whole process is becoming incredibly frustrating. I can't help but be suspicious that it started playing up exactly a year after it first arrived either. So what else can I do?

Cannot get mine to work either my aria 2 Keep saying “guest” and I have tried everything even contacted customer support and there is no solution yet according to them… My solution was to go to apple.com and buy a smart scale by the other brand that begins with a W... I even asked Fitbit customer service to just exchange this or do a discount to purchase a new scale and they said no… Not much help at all very disappointing
