Aria 2 model number differences? FB202 and FB201 series?

I've noticed that there are at least two model numbers for the Aria 2. I've seen one as FB201, which I assume is earlier, and the FB202BK. I also assume the BK means black, and that the FB202 is the newest version? I don't want to buy and older version that hasn't had the "kinks" worked out. 

Any insight would be appreciated.

@Gavacho   FB201 is the original Aria scale.  It is not available from the Fitbit store or other sites like Amazon and Best Buy.  FB202BK is the black Aria 2 and FB202WT is the white Aria 2.

This FB number is also part of the FCC registration. 

Go to the FCC search page. Drop the number in and you will get the exact model and radio specifications.

Thanks for the reply, but I noticed that different numbers were listed on fitbit.com and other sites. Out of curiosity, why would they have different FCC registrations if they were the same model? Thx

Because as @LZeeW has explained @Gavach they are not the same scale. 

The FB201 was released around 2004 or earlier. This is the Aria first model 

The FB202 is for the scale that was release 2 years ago. This scale comes in both black and white. Each with its own ID

Then there also is the FB203 which is the Aria Air

To sum up, there are 4 different models of the Fitbit scales.
