Hi. I was given a second hand set of aria 2 scales however I can get it to be picked up on the app or Bluetooth. I’ve done a factory reset on the scales and it turns on saying setup active but when I go i to the app it doesn’t find the scales and neither does my Bluetooth??

@Misskama87, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Aria 2 since it's not being recognized by your phone's Bluetooth. By the way, thank you for trying a factory reset before contacting our forums.

Please make sure that your phone has the most recent Fitbit app version installed. If the app is up to date, try logging out of your Fitbit account, restart your phone, open the app and log in. Finally, try the setup process one more time as described in this help article.

Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀

Hiya. I have tried this and my app is still not locating the scales. the scales then say please set up, they show
A x above the wifi sign then turn off.

Also i note your help says the aria 2 has three batteries but mine is definitely an aria 2 and has 4 batteries??

If you have 4 batteries @Misskama87 then you have the original Aria scale and not the Aria 2.

But it doesn’t look anything like the pictures of the original aria? It looks like the aria 2?

Look on the back of the scale. There will be a model number. For the Aria 2 the number is FB202

For the Aria 1 this number will be FB201W or FB201B

It should show up as a connected device on the app. Did any of your weighings sync to your account?

Hi @Medic1048, thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. I would like to know if your Aria 2 shows any error message when trying to connect with your phone's Bluetooth.

In the meantime, try taking out the batteries for 15 seconds and put them back in. After this, please make sure to follow the setup process as described in this help page.

Looking forward to your response.

There is no error message, it keeps scrolling that it is in setup. My
phone nor my tablet see the scale via bluetooth to take it to the next step.

Thanks

@Medic1048 you need to use the Fitbit app to setup a scale, your phones Bluetooth, at best will reject.
