Aria 2 not detecting my WiFi

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I recently changed wifi services and went to switch to the new one and it simply will not show up- I’m under the wifi tab of my aria Fitbit 2 on the app, and it’s showing the list of available networks but mine and won’t connect even if I input the name and password manually.

Does your new wifi meet the Aria 2 requirements:

• Wireless 802.11b/g/n, 2.4 GHz standard
• WEP / WPA / WPA2 personal security
• Automatic (DHCP) IP setup (static IP configuration not supported)

I just checked and I believe it does, it’s definitely 802.11 but online it
says it automatically switches between 2.4 and 5. Gh to help your speed,
might that be the problem?

@ErinDela15 thank you for getting back! I believe that if your router bandwidth changes from 2.4GHz to 5 automatically, this could be the reason why your Aria 2 doesn't detect your WiFi.

Is there a chance to change this option so your router's bandwidth can be set to 2.4GHz only? If you need help with this, please contact your Internet service provider so they can guide you to change the setting.

In the meantime, please let me know if you get any error message. Also, make sure that you are following the setup process as described in this help article.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy
