Aria 2 not providing BMI readings

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Need some help figuring out what has happened to my aria 2.

It was previously set up and syncing to my account. It then only read out the weight then it would turn off the screen, no BMI readout and no syncing.

Have tried updating wifi and tried deleting and setting it up again with no changes.

My network has not changed, batteries were still new but put new ones in during my troubleshooting and i have not had any errors.

@Tarco Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry for the late response and I'm also sorry to hear that your Aria 2 is not showing your BMI nor syncing your data. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try the following workaround: Please take out the new batteries for 15 seconds and put them back in. After this, weigh your self 5 times in a row in order to re-calibrate your scale. Finally, make sure that your scale is placed on a hard surface and you are stepping on it barefoot.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

Hi Juanjo

I cannot weigh myself as i reset it and tried to set up again during my troubleshooting.

It does not create a hot spot and the app cannot find it even if i place the phone directly on the scales. Have also tried with other devices but it only comes up with a set up error on the app when trying to add.

@Tarco Thank you for getting back and trying the workaround that was shared previously. Since you mentioned that your Aria 2 displays an error message. Please provide more details about the error.

In addition, please let me know what is the make and model of your router and make sure that the router is running the protocol 802.11b or mixed mode (b.g.n) and the bandwidth is 2.4GHz.

Looking forward to your response! Smiley Happy

Hi Juanjo

Aria2 scales has no error message only the app displays an error when i have tried to set up after resetting aria.

My router is a netgear wnr2000v4 also meets all requirents as specified.

Aria2 was connected to this router before it stopped syncing and not displaying bmi or users.

@Tarco I appreciate your response! Please let me know what is the error message that the app displays. This will help me to assist you accordingly.

In the meantime, make sure that your phone has the most recent app version installed. After this, try setting up your Aria 2 from scratch and see if the setup error message disappears.

See you later! 😀
