Aria 2 provides inconsistent body fat readings

I've used my Aria2 almost daily, for a number of months now.  The body fat reading has been fairly consistent during this time.  However, the body fat reading in my past 4 readings has been extremely inconsistent, changing dramatically from day to day.  The weight part of the measurement has been normal.  What might cause this?  I continue to weigh myself the same way at the same time, every day.

Hi @TooTalls 

One thing that can affect the reading is change in hydration and also the total amount of water contained in your body. 

I have noticed that changes in the amount of sodium seem to affect my body fat percentage.

Have to wonder if this is what's going on with me as well. I've got 2 separate Aria 2 scales. (I still live with my parents. Am 26- well, technically 25 but am going to be 26 next month- and am 5'2", female, 160lbs.) The scale at one house says 43% and the other scale says 41%. Turned OFF lean mode and weighed this morning on Scale 1. 38.5% but from my own measurements I'm in low-40s
