Aria 2 "Feet" icon inquiry

The first few times I used the Aria 2 it displayed the FEET icon and then the one that tells you to step off.

After moving the scale to a permanent location, every time I use the scale it immediately shows my weight, BMI and body fat percentage. I no longer see the FEET icon displays. The data does get synced with my Fitbit app.

Any reason why the Aria 2 is doing this? What icons should appear every time you weigh yourself?

@jghfit it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your inquiry about the "Feet" icon that your Aria 2 used to display. Please restart your Aria 2 by taking out the batteries for 15 seconds and put them back in. After this, weigh yourself 5 times in a row and see if the "Feet" icon appears again. If the icon doesn't appear, this doesn't affect the functionality of your scale nor the readings accuracy.

As a side note, I'd like to share this help article which explains the meaning of each icon that the Aria 2 shows.

What’s the reason for weighing 5 times in a row?  I restarted the scale but only weighed myself once. When I weighed myself later it was acting w/o the feet. The feet only showed the first time. I will restart again and weigh myself 5 times in a row to see what happens. But why the 5 times in a row.

@jghfit thank you for getting back! Regarding your question, weighing 5 times in a row after restarting the scale, this re-calibrates the Aria 2 internally.

LEt me know how it goes and if more questions arise! Smiley Happy

I tried it again today and the first time I used the scale after restart I saw the feet. All subsequent attempts to reach 5 times just displayed the weight, BMI and Body Fat as before. It showed my icon at the end and confirmed the synch.

I suspect the Aria 2 is operating as designed and it only tells you to step off during the initial calibration that is being performed.
