My new Aria 2 won't even attempt to connect to Wifi.
When trying to connect to Wifi, I click the "Next" at the setup and it gives a pop up immediately saying "Wi-Fi Problem. There was a problem with Wi-Fi"
I tried to check if my wifi list would find Aria as its own network like the website setup suggest - it doesn't.
I've tried to hard reset the scale and no luck.

Is your wifi compatible?
Networking Requirements
Aria 2 connects directly to your home’s Wi-Fi network and supports the following
network configurations:
• Wireless 802.11b/g/n, 2.4 GHz standard
• WEP / WPA / WPA2 personal security
• Automatic (DHCP) IP setup (static IP configuration not supported)
Aria 2 requires an 802.11b/g/n-compatible network to connect and sync your scale
data to your Fitbit account.

I have a similar issue. Nothing changed but my Aria 2 suddenly can't find my wifi anymore. Have tried a hard reset but it doesn't do the trick.
Now, a 100 euro scale has become as useless as a 5 euro scale. Just showing the weight and that's it. From other forum posts I notice this isn't just me and this wifi issue is very persistent. Of course the 2 years have just passed and I have no guarantee anymore. Quite the bummer!!

Yup same with me - hard reset, factory reset, tried on an iphone and ipad, rebooted router. Fitbit suppport is trying to tell me the issue may be at my end but that is fiddlesticks because my scale was working fine for two years and then suddenly it started reporting me as guest and when I did a reset it would not connect to the house wifi

Same here. I changed apartment and went to reconfigure my Aria 2 for the new Wi-Fi network. First time worked but it didn't recognize me, always flagging me as guest even after multiple times. I then proceeded to factory reset it using the instructions in the official documentation and now it's not even reaching the Wi-Fi part anymore, just hard failing with "There was a problem with Wi-Fi".
If this is something that's happening regularly and there is no official answer from Fitbit I won't be buying from them ever again. I will also make sure to tell all my friends to avoid them.
Can we at least get an official answer?

I meet same problem, but I have solved this problem.
it's app's problem, we need find a Android phone, and download a old version of Fitbit app(I have chosen a version released in 2021)
Afterwards, using the old version APP to pair the Aria 2 and connect to WiFi

I experience the same problem, hard reset did not help . it looks like the WIFI chip is stuck as even after the hard reset Area2 did not show its AREA-XXXX wifi.
Another huge problem, is that once I can not complete the setup due to "WIFI problem' the scale become unusable as it does not show a body fat and the BMI.
I feel pretty much frustrated and confused. Going to drop the FITBIT ,will never use Fitbit stuff in the future ,

Throw a FIT bit is a better name. Lucky you that it shows the weight, after trying to connect I just get step on/step off, no weight and an ERR as dessert. Fitbit was my last device holdout against an annoying Apple Watch but looks like I’m being assimilated. Good news is losing another 4 pounds throwing this crap out the window.

I only have the Aria. I have the similar problem. I got stuck in the wifi detection page. It can’t detect my home wifi, even I key it in. I did have the 2.4 GHz but it still didn’t work. What should I do?
