Hi @Mackie_C, welcome to the Community. I'm sorry for the delay in my reply.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for the steps that you've tried to get your scale syncing. Currently the Aria 2 software was designed to get it synced via WiFi, and not via Bluetooth as with your Charge 3. I appreciate your feedback; our team will make sure to improve our products, and your experience with them. Given that the scale doesn't stay connected, please confirm if the following requirements are met:

  • Both the network name and password must be no more than 32 characters long.
  • You're using WEP / WPA / WPA2 personal security.
  • The router's frequency setting is 802.11b/g/n under 2.4GHz.
  • Your Aria 2 is placed within 30 feet from the router.
  • You're not using any firewalls or MAC filtering.
  • The Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.

I look forward to your reply.

Hi @Mackie_C, nice to see you here. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

Thanks for getting back. I understand your point of view, and thanks for your thoughts. If you keep having issues to sync, let me know so we can work on that. Regarding to your inquiry, your body fat percentage can vary over the course of a day, and your measurements should fall within 2%, which is our accuracy range. There are some factors that may cause inaccuracy. Please make sure that you are standing still on your scale with dry and bare feet. As well, to place the scale on a hard-flat surface. I'd recommend the following steps:

  1. Go to the Fitbit app and tap on the Account icon.
  2. Tap on your name > Personal Stats and make sure your height and weight are correct.
  3. Restart your Aria 2 by removing the batteries for 15 seconds.
  4. Calibrate it by weighing 3 times. Be sure to be barefoot.

Keep me posted. Robot Happy
