Aria 2 shows that I am a "Guest"

After 2 months of using Aria 2 without problems, I weighed this morning, it came up as guest, no x or tick either side of it, just Guest

 

Removed scales from APP and reinstalled, still a GUEST!! Weighed several times, and changed Guest to me, and still comes up as GUEST

 

Expensive piece of rubbish or can someone please Help!

When guest first appears try tapping hard on the lower right corner until your initials show.

Patruns - when you say "tapping hard on the lower right corner until your initials show" do you mean tapping with your toe? Bending down and the scale a rap with your knuckles?  And when the initials show, what do you do then?
