I got up this morning and the WiFi did not sync after weighing in. Nothing new. Usually I just reset the connection, point it back to my WiFi, and move on. However today it did not reconnect. I've factory reset the scale, I've rebooted my router, I've moved the scale within 2 feet of the router. It sees the wifi, it has full bars, but when I try to connect it, it just times out.
Please provide a resolution.

Hello @the8re
You might have to set up your Aria Scale again since you performed a factory reset: https://www.fitbit.com/scale/setup/start
😃 Hopefully that gets you reconnected. Please tell me how it goes

I had to delete the scale from my account and set it up from scratch. Lost a few days worth of weigh-ins, and have to re-add everyone in my family. Annoying but I guess it will work eventually.

😃 I’m happy to see your up and running again @the8re! I understand the frustration of having to set up the Aria Scale from scratch. It’s time consuming for sure but hopefully this won’t happen again. I hope you have an enjoyable rest of your day.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve replaced the batteries, it still says battery “medium”. I’ve reset it countless times. It picks up the internet, says it’s connected, then nothing. Mine stopped syncing after its last sync 6/22/22 at 21:53 CST. I’m having to manually enter my daily weights. Is there a glitch in the Fitbit system?

Hello @Tortiepoints
I’m not finding the battery medium error in the list of possible Aria 2 scale error displays: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1496.htm You might need to contact Fitbit Customer Service: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US

My aria 2 stopped connecting to the WiFi on 6/22 too. For no reason nothing changed here. Just stopped. I changed batteries, factory reset, deleted Fitbit app and restarted, restarted router and modem. It shows all good until it's running through syncing the. I get sad face and shows the WiFi bars with an x and states can't connect

My aria 2 WiFi also stopped working last week. Nothing was changed by me it just stopped. If I remove WPA2-Personal authentication in WiFi then the connection works. I think Fitbit has updated something in the scale and now it does not work.
Or maybe WPA2 or WiFi standard has been updated and Aria 2 no longer works? I am using Android shared WiFi connection because the WiFi in my modem stopped working with Aria 2 long time ago and Android phone was last resort. Now it seems even that wont work anymore unless I use unsecure authentication (no authentication at all that is).

It’s not an “error” it’s the amount of battery life left. Meaning, my batteries aren’t dead. I replaced them with new batteries anyway. That didn’t help. There are quite a few people having the same problem at the same time with their Aria 2 scales. Is there a software update or something we should be aware of? Are they obsolete since being discontinued?

Nope.
I changed batteries, put scale close to router, etc ...
Please recheck.
It appears that on 06.22.22 FitBit stopped supporting Aria scales ..at least the Aria 2
NO more software link between Fitbit & Aria2
If this is in fact what has happened ... then FitBit must make an announcement. Not rely on FB community to inform one another.
It's pretty much a big middle-finger from FB to us
