My aria 2 stopped showing fat %.

Removed batteries and recalibrate a dozen times, issue unresolved.

Reset Aria a few time, issue persists.

Expensive piece of equipment is worthless if it only shows weight. Very dissaponted 😞

Solved it on my own, thx a lot fit bit community.

Factory reset removed all settings, once I put in a name for Aria, and filled up all the other aria 2 preferences fat% started working.

Ask you devs to check for null and empty strings in user input. When I have time I will try some script injection attacks on my aria.

Hello @Mohitbh and welcome to the Community.  Can you please clarify your issue?  Your issue can be interpreted two ways.

  • If your scale keeps showing "--%", you might have a scale failure or a skin contact issue.  Some users say that callouses can interfere with body fat %.
  • If your scale isn't showing anything at all (skipping from weight to BMI), please check your Fitbit app.  Tap on your device/battery icon in the upper left > Aria 2 > People Using This Scale > your name > are all the toggles on?

Thanks LZeeW,

I have 2 weighing machines.

My fitbit aria 2 used to show fat% now it doesn't.

I can get fat% in my scale from weight watchers, no issues.

I have removed batteries, factory reset, changed wifi, swapped location of the aria with other one, put in new batteries, toggled all the options in my fotbit profile.

Changed it to lean mode as well.

I can confidently state that the issue is in the device not my feet.

If you can point me to a resolution that would be much appreciated.

P. S fitbit community is not customer friendly, I have seen umpteen posts about the same issue where customers are complaining and after a few pleasantries and reset instructions fitbit support leaves them hanging. Not cool!!
