Aria 2 will not connect to Wi-Fi anymore

Aria 2 worked fine until Friday, but stopped syncing Saturday.  Troubleshooted according to everything I found in the forums.  Why did this crash and my blaze is malfunctioning with notifications as well?  Are they being intentionally phased out like apple products now that aria air and versa are released?

Hi @Kepps20. Welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for letting me know that your Aria 2 isn't able to connect with your WiFi. In any way we've forgotten about our Blaze and Aria 2 users, so be sure that I'll be here to help you out with this. As you may know there are some factors that may affect the connection with your network, for this reason make sure of the following:

  • Both the network name and password must be no more than 32 characters long.
  • You're using WEP / WPA / WPA2 personal security.
  • The router's frequency setting is 802.11b/g/n under 2.4GHz.
  • Your Aria 2 is placed within 30 feet from the router (10 feet for the setup).
  • You're not using any firewalls or MAC filtering.

If these conditions are met, I'd recommend to restart your Aria 2 by removing the batteries for 15 seconds. Place it on a hard-flat surface next to the router and try the setup process one more time. If the issue persists, please let me know the error message displayed on the scale and/or the Fitbit app so I can further investigate.

In regards to your tracker, please post your question in the Blaze board. This way you'll receive related responses about that situation, and to keep our forums organized.

I'll be around, keep me posted.
