I have an older Aria 2 that got removed from my Fitbit app. When I remove the battery for a bit and reinsert it, it automatically shows that it's connected to my home wifi network. I find the device listed in my router's device list.
If I "tap" on the scale, it shows "Setup Active." I then connect my mobile device to the AriaXXX network, go back to the setup page and click "I'm connected." I get the "trying to connect" message, the whirling wheel, and the failure alert.
What give?
Thanks.

The only scale that connects directly to the fitbit app on your phone is the Aria Air, connecting to your phone via bluetooth. Aria and Aria 2 connect to your wifi network, and your wifi connects to your phone app. I don't know anything about an Aria network; if it exists, there is no need to pay any attention to it. Just let the scale connect to your wifi, and you phone connect to the same wifi network. That's it.
