So having difficulties connecting my new Aria 2 to Wifi.
It sees the network, accepts the password, tick apears then sync process then says can't connect
I have tried the following:-
What is my next step? Is this a firmware issue or an issue with the synchronisation servers?
Yours hopefully
P.s also tried taking batteries out for ten min, router is 8 feet in direct line of sight to router, there are other wireless devices on network which are working fine.

After several hours of trying and hard resets it finally connected after creating a stand alone guest network. So far online for 3 days.
I'm hopping mad at all of FitBit over this and are contemplating on getting rid of all devices.
They really need to clean up their network design division.
Don't bother trying to call the helpless line.

Removing batteries did NOTHING form my scale either. Loads of trys to get the scale working ..and connecting to the network failed. In my opinion the scale works to weigh but its junk when trying to hook to the network!! I gave up six months ago. Tried to hook up router is close..could be set next to the scale...NADA!! JUNK!!

I suspect that the scale wifi has a hard time playing nice with one or the other item on the network.
My wireless usually has 9-12 clients connected, 2-4 on 5ghz the rest on 2.4ghz and 4 on the wired side.
I created a 2.4ghz Guest network in addition on the same router and so far it is holding, the scale is the only thing on that part.
I seriously doubt to ever here something from the FitBit technical team to explain their shortcomings or provide a fix, absolutely ridiculus.

I was having the same problem. Ready to pull my hair out and return the thing. Turns out it required I used the original factory setting for the wifi network and password.

yes my Aria2 still can't connect to my wifi. I changed my router and any thing else in this topic ( change the phone and pc, hard reset my aria2 and …. ). there is no other error massage. like I said before, in the wizard it can find my wireless network and shows a tic mark and also my aria2 shown in my connected device list in router setting. but after that when it tries to sync wirelessly with my account it can't and say " Can't Connect" and shows a sad emojy. and also aria 2 disappear from connected device list on my router setting. any thing else I can do???

I had the same problem with connecting to wifi: Aria2 would indicate a succesful connection and display a checkmark, proceeded to sync and then give a "Can't Connect" error. After several attempts, resetting the router finally solved the issue.
