Aria 2 won't connect to WiFi

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi

My Aria 2 won't connect to my Wifi - the WiFi is compatible but the password was changed recently.  What do I do?

I've taken out the battery, but it just says 'no wi-fi' when I put it back in again.

I've looked at the various suggestions but nothing that relates to this problem that I can see.

All suggestions very welcome!

Hi @KMC28, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Aria 2 since it won't connect with your WiFi. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I would like to know if your Aria displays another error message during the setup process or if it just says "WiFi" when you put the battery back in.

In the meantime, make sure that you are following the setup process that is listed in this help article.

Looking forward to your response.

I am also having this issue, I saw that it could be a defect and went as far as buying a new one off amazon which arrived today. Well I’m back at square one. I live in a smart apartment with a cat5 connection, I have no WiFi abnormalities with any other product so I know it’s not my internet. Is there a method of setting this scale up outside of checking the batteries, pressing the WiFi reset button, or making sure my app is up to date? Because we’ve got all of those covered and still cannot use your product. We spent extra buying a Fitbit brand item assuming it would be a more seamless experience with our trackers and apps, I don’t want to go to a third party but I am now out about $400 on your defective products.

Hi

When I put the battery in nothing comes on the screen.  When I stand on it, it takes my weight (correctly).  It then (I guess) tries to send it remotely and I get a sad face and the message 'no wifi' and a picture of an x with three lines (symbol for the wifi).

Suggestions?

No, no error message - it weighs me, displays the weight, then a pause, sad face, no WiFi and WiFi symbol with an x.
