Aria 2 won't connect to asus dual band router

Hi,, aparently I’m not the only one who has problems connecting my new Aria 2 to a router. I am trying to connect it to Asus router RT-AC1200, 2,4 ghz via wpa2. Did try all the suggested stuff from this forum and scale was indeed able to connect for a few seconds afterwards it just wasnt able to sync or do anything.

any suggestions as what to do? Should i try older router? Can aria connect through WPS?

many thanks

ps: sorry for reposting this from the original aria product forum to aria 2 forum.

I have exactly the same problem with my Netgear router.   I cannot even get the app to accept a manual entry of the network.  This despite the same network being used for two Versas.  The app keeps bringing up a bluetooth reset message.

@MartinR33 @Beemer2 It's great to see you both here! I apologize for the late response! However, I'd like to follow up on this issue and would like to know if the issue persists or if your Aria 2 could be set up properly.

In the meantime, please let me know if you get any error message during the setup process. Also, make sure that you guys are following the setup instructions as described in this help article.

Looking forward to your responses! Smiley Happy

All right,, I was able to connect to the router when I enabled b/g security option in the router's settings. Aria connected successfuly to the wifi but was unable to sync. The synchronisation operation timed out. After all it was able to sync one reading but that's about it. I've waited for couple days now, and it has about five or so readings in it that won't sync to the cloud as it always times out.

@MartinR33 Thank you for getting back! I'm glad to hear that your Aria could be set up. Regarding the syncing issue, does your scale display any error when trying to sync your data or does it just stay in thinking mode? This information will help me to assist you accordingly.

As a side note, try restarting your router, set up your scale again and see if the syncing issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

My Aria 2 is now working as it should. I had to use my Honor 10 phone
instead of my Galaxy tablet.

Change the Wireless Mode to Legacy and make sure the b/g Protection is checked off.
