Aria 2 won't connect to new WiFi router

Just moved to a new apt and got a new wifi router. 2.4 and 5GHz.

I tried to reconnect the Aria 2 to the new wifi but all I get is a loop fail of "An error occurred, please try again later."

  • 2.4GHz radio is enabled with b/g/n (5GHz is n/ac).
  • Android 10 phone, tried being connected to both 2.4 and 5GHz
  • Tried resetting Aria 2 (keeping button pressed while removing batteries, and keeping it pressed for 10+ seconds after batteries was re-insterted)
  • Tried logging out of fitbit app and back in. Also tried force kill and clear cache and logging back in.
  • The bluetooth connection during initial setup (after reset) worked, but the WiFi does not!
  • The 2.4 and 5GHz SSIDs are different. Password is the same, only chars and numbers.

Seems I'm not the only one in here with this stupid problem. Is it an app problem?
