Aria 2 won’t update my dashboard

My new Aria 2 updates weight/BMI/body fat info to my Aria 2 account in my Fitbit app, but the information is not being updated in my dashboard. I also have an Ionic connected to my account. How can I get the information from my Aria 2 to update in the dashboard?

@RandyU Welcome to our Fitbit Community! Seems odd that your Aria 2 readings are not updating on your Fitbit app. Please make sure that your phone has the most recent app version installed. If the app is up to date, log out of the Fitbit app, restart your phone, open the app again and log in. Finally, weigh yourself a couple of times and wait until the Aria 2 completes the syncing. After this, go to the Fitbit app and tap on the "Weight" tile, which has a little scale as an icon and see if your readings get synced and updated.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

Hi I am having the exact same problem; I have done everything as suggested by moderator above and still no joy. In fact having done all of the above it is now unable to recognise me when I step on; keeps saying guest😡

Thanks for the reply. To clarify, after I weighed I could go to the app, open up Aria 2 and click on recent weigh-ins, and the information would be there. So in that sense it was uploaded to the app. Problem was, that information was not transferring to the dashboard. I tried synching, restarting, etc, to no avail. Later that day I decided to manually log the weigh-in information, and once I entered it manually, the information from the earlier weigh-ins immediately transferred. Apparently the manual entry process triggered some sort of connection that solved the issue.

Used it again today and it uploaded correctly again. Appears my problem has been corrected

@Grinchy Thank you for joining us in this thread! Since your Aria scale is recognizing you as "Guest", I'd like you to take a look and follow the tips that are listed in this help article, which explains why your scale may recognize you as "Guest".

@RandyU I'm so glad to hear that your Aria scale updated your data properly. Thank you for posting the update here. I'd like to invite you to visit our Discussions board where you can share your experiences, meet people and create new topics.

See you guys around! Smiley Happy

Hi,

Im having the same issues - just purchased my scales yesterday.  In my profile under Aria2 - recent weight in’s I can see the data, however it won’t transfer to my scales icon in my dashboard.  I need to manually add the data.  It also logs in my profile as 2 weigh ins for the exact same ‘step on the scales’.  It has my icon and guest at the same time showing the same data.

after deleting guest it deletes mine as well.  Weighed my self again 2 mins later - exact same spot, clothing, environment etc and all of a sudden I’m 400 grams heavier.

please help.

I noticed the same issue and came across your response. I decided to log the weight manually(https://www.fitbit.com/weight) and deleted it. It somehow synced the previously weigh-ins from the scale and synced to the dashboard.

Note to moderator: Once we setup the scale and weigh-in, it does not automatically updates the dashboard unless user manually logs weight which seems to be triggering an update. Looks like a valid bug and should be fixed.
