Aria Air %, BMI grayed out on the display

I just recently got an Aria Air and am confused as to why the display on the scale has a section that has %, BMI and a few other things that are grayed out. I have only been able to adjust the weight measurements from lb, st lb and kg.

After a quick search, I am seeing people saying the Air isn't able to calculate % body fat or BMI on the scale. Why would these two things specifically be on the display board if the scale cannot do it?

Hi @TheTangeMan -- I'm puzzled.  All I see is weight on the Air display.

I also have the same issue. one of the reasons I purchased it was for the BMI calculation. On my fitbit dashboard under the Aria Air scale, it indicates that the BMI is hidden.  Yet I have not been able to find any way to "un-hide" the BMI.  I suspect it's not an option to calculate BMI with this scale???But why would it be on the display board of the scale???? I'm so confused and annoyed!

@Lalondn   Are you referring to the web view or the app view of your scale?  The only place I see anything marked as "hidden" is the web dashboard when I click on the Gear then Aria Air.  But it says body fat, not BMI.  In order to see you BMI along with your weight, you have to weigh yourself on the scale and hit save on your phone app.  THEN, you go to your weight log, tap on that entry and you will see your BMI.  The web weight log has a BMI graph.

It seems like if you are the only user, then this information should appear on the scale.  Except that's not how it seems to work.  The BMI get calculated after it has been saved to an account.

Does this help?
