Aria Air Bluetooth stopped working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had my Aria Air (Bluetooth only) for just over a year and it has worked consistently ok until July 28 when is stopped syncing with the Android App.  I've changed the batteries, reset the scale, tried connecting with my wife's Apple I12. Nothing works.  Yes, the Bluetooth is turned on and works with my other BT devices including my SENSE.  Following the instructions before resetting the scale, the app finds the scale but won't complete the connection. After reset, it does not find the scale at all.

Any ideas?

Hello @SmokeyJoe80

First and foremost I apologize for the late response. I’m just seeing this post for the first time. To answer your question I’d recommend restarting your Aria Air scale. I’ve had the same thing happen to me as you described after replacing the batteries. I had to remove the batteries again for about 8-10 seconds first. Put the batteries back in then perform the restart. Here’s how:

The reset button is located in the rear of the scale (see image)

😃 I hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

Yes,  I tried that and several other techniques.  Now I got it where it does connect to the APP and wants me to save the data but when you look at what it wants to save, the field is the previous reading, not the one that would be in agreement with the scale. So it's back to square one. This is the behavior that I was trying to correct when this situation first started to occur.

Thanks for the reply anyway.

Still searching.

Hello again @SmokeyJoe80

Can you please clarify….when you say “field is in the previous reading”….are you referring to scale units are different? Like pounds are weighed but syncs to Fitbit app as stone or kilos?

Or does it mean you weigh yourself but what actually syncs to the Fitbit app is the weight you took previously at a totally different day or time?

It's the latter of the two choices.  If the previous weigh in was 100 then that is what would be saved, not the current reading of 200!
