Scales arrived today - Setup went fine, except they measured me as being over a stone heavier than I am ! App gave my correct weight briefly in Stones and pounds, but then reverted to lbs despite the app and the scales being told to use Stones and pounds. Now they are giving me readings of over 3 / 4 stone more than I am, and nothing is coming up on the app at all. I've done the Reset via the back button, I've tried removing one of the batteries and re-inserting it, added and deleted the scale multiple times. I really think I have received a faulty item, as I am quite tech savvy and have been in the fitbit eco system for well over 5 years now. It's even changed all my account over to pounds despite me telling the app, the scales and my computer account that I want to use stones and not just pounds like I always have - See screenshot:
Likewise I have tried different hard surfaces, and it is doing the same thing to someone else as well (overestimating their weight) Even when sat after weighing instead of reading 0.00 they read 0.80 or even 3.70 etc... Not going back to 0.00...
In other words, it's NOT the integration with my fitbit account or connectivity thats the real issue (Despite it changing my account from Stones to Pounds) but the fact that the scale itself being WILDLY inaccurate...
So, assuming they are faulty, Whats my next step please?
