Aria Air

I can see that the scail has a Wi-Fi symbol on its display but I cannot find any info about connecting it to the wifi.

 

seems to only use bluetooth which is prooving to be unreliable. I ooen the fitbit app wait tell its done syncing. activate the scale by steping on it once then wait for the bluetooth to connect and then step on to weigh myself.

 

~20% of the time it works and the app records my weight but the othe 80% of the time nothing happens and I end up having to record my weight manualy. 

 

I have tried all the troubleshooting online and have even tried two different cell phones / fitbit apps. all are up to date and bluetooth is on and enabled.

 

my hope is that wifi might be more reliable, but how do I connect?

Sorry, but Aria Air is only is only bluetooth to phone, no wifi.

You say on display - Where?  If you mean on the scale LCD display, there are several symbols there, such as fat % that are not lit that are not used - just there as part of a stock scale display part.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
