Aria Air body fat % never changes

I have lost 40 pounds and my body fat % has not changed at all. It seems like it should have budged a little. What is going on?

The Aria Air does not measure body fat %.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I don't know about the book, but How do I get started with Fitbit scales?  has a section "What does my Fitbit scale measure?" with a chart saying it the Aria Air does not measure body fat %.

And in the Aria Air manual , all it says for sensor is:

Sensors
Four load cells measure weight.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
