Aria Air doesn't provide accurate readings

Just bought a Fitbit Aria Air today. Fired it up and the weight was 50Kg off right from the start. I reset it but it did nothing. Now I see this is a very common problem and I can’t believe these things are still up for sale. Going straight back in the box and back to the store and I am reporting to consumer affairs. Cannot knowingly sell such a faulty product Fitbit.

@Dannylangy Welcome to our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about the accuracy issue that your Aria Air experienced. I appreciate the time spent trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums.

If you haven't returned your scale, I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article, under the subject "How can I get the most accurate reading on my Fitbit scale?". After this, monitor your scale and see if it provides accurate readings.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your response. I have returned the device now already. I did
review your help article but there was clearly something very wrong with
the device. I had followed all the recommended actions and it was simply
not working at all. The weight was 30kg different to actual and wouldn't
change regardless of what I did
